Artify App Reviews

Artify was great before, but this update really makes it awesome. The new styles and new features give lots of ways to create pictures which I want to share with my friends. Cant wait to see what else is next if this is just the first update!

I downloaded this app and had a problem with it and emailed their customer support. I had a response almost immediately asking me exactly what the problem was so we could figure it out. I was highly impressed with how fast and helpful they were. Well, it turned out that the problem was on my end and not their fault. My app is working perfectly now and I just love it! I love making my photos look like paintings. Many thanks to the Kodama company and looking forward to purchasing more apps from a company that cares about service even after the sale.

This app is awesome - I was a bit skeptical, but I pulled in some pics of friends of mine and hit the Artify button and WOW! Its like a painting! Really beautiful. I love how you can use erase with your finger to see the faces clearly too. I love my creations! Easy and cool. 5 stars!

An awesome app...a few taps and your photograph is transformed into a stylized painting.

There is no way this is a 4 star rated app. Makes me suspicious. This thing is not worth $1.99, it hardly does anything. It should be free. It is a three filter effect app that does not do even a fraction of what many other less expensive apps do. Needs much,much more filters and effects!

I like it! A fun APP. Would like the ability to generate a lesser degree of paint.

I agree with other reviewers. This is a worthless app. Maybe later when they add functionality. Right now I would give it a zero if possible. I want my money back!!!

Great fun to make paintings of my friends - often has better impact that just another portrait.

This app does not function on my iPad 2 or on my iPhone 3GS. Ive written to the support email twice in the last month with no acknowledgment of it at all. Ill change my rating if I get a response, resolution, or refund.

This app leads to some amazingly beautiful results with some photos. When it works well with a photo then Im usually able to make several different versions that are stunningly good. With other photos Im not satisfied with any of the versions no matter how many options I try. You cant seem to force any one particular photo to work well with the app. Ive used Artify on my own art that Ive made on the iPad with other apps. In some cases the results make me look like Im an artistic genius. Im not bragging. Its all effects. When it works it works. When it doesnt the results arent at all impressive. Its been a lot of fun to play with so far. Ive already made a Keynote slideshow of my best Artified productions. One cool thing about Artify is that its letting me get more value from my other iPad art apps.

This is a ho-hum kind of app for me. I have pretty much every app that can turn a photo into a painting, either by just pushing a button like this app or by painting and adjusting and working for the final product like in Mobile Monet. The button pushing just doesnt feel as fun and the results are so much less personal. Not to mention how much less control you have over the final results. This app allows you to erase and paint but the spots where you do it stick out like sore thumbs. So, Im giving the app three stars because I can see how some photos will turn out lovely using what is really just a filter and so it merits the three stars. The UI is friendly as well and overall, the app is polished and well-done.

Got some great effects from this app. The app is simple to use and fun to play with. By changing the color and hue, you get additional effects.

Kind of samey. Paper camera is more fun.

I would really like to use Artify but it keeps crashing on both my iPhone and iPad. Its too bad its a great app. Please fix!

Too much fun. Need to ration time with it. How about a Fauvist version or style?
